Angie Duvall, ray of sunshine and Art History teacher at NBHS, came to me wanting to do this painting project with her classes. After attempting many different recipes for the paint and several trips to Lowes and other stores, we found the perfect tools for the job and tackled getting ALL of our classes together, at one point we had almost 60 students in the Art room "painting"! The students were all very pleased with their results from the process which emphasized non-traditional paint application. We looked at the work of Abstract Expressionist painter Jackson Pollock as a reference for this style.
