Art classes have just completed their first project (a colored pencil drawing utilizing adaptations of basic forms) and the works are nearly done being uploaded to Artsonia! Artsonia is an online gallery that allows you to view the student art works, comment, and purchase keepsakes. Artsonia is a wonderful organization that offers opportunity for young artists to earn money from published art and any keepsake purchase includes a 20% donation back to the school's Art program. If your son/daughter is in Art and their work is not visible, you just need to grant permission for their work to be public, this also makes them eligible for contests and prizes.
Click the link below to grant permission. HAVPA has finished our study of Medieval Art and we'll now be learning about non-Western cultures of Asia and the Middle East. We are also in the process of completing a stained glass activity with paper that ties in with Medieval stained glass.
